Fall has really arrived and the gingko tree in the garden is looking gloriously autumnal. The last of the seasons Wine Tours has just finished so time to head off on our travels again. We are going to try out the Mayor of Paris’s new bike scheme, go port tasting in Porto in the Duero Valley Portugal and then on to Madrid to visit the famous Prado Gallery. Can’t wait and watch out for photos and our report back in December!
Before we head off though we brush up our cookery skills for next year with a cookery course run by the fabulous Michelin starred chef Fabrice who owns La Licorne restaurant in Fontevraud. He was patient both with our French & culinary skills as we attempted to open oysters and prepare St Jaques in their shells with a pastry crust.
Here we are looking smart in our red La Licorne aprons! Mmm I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.
