La Petite Maison is a charming cottage situated in the beautiful riverside village of Treves. The river is only a short stroll away from the cottage. Take the opportunity to visit the Church of Treves and see the remarkable Tower which dominates the village. Or walk up through the troglodyte village into the countryside for a picnic. Cycling and river trips available.

This romantic cottage is available for long weekends, by the week or
fortnight or your dates on request and comes fully furnished to a high standard- “contemporary
bistro French”.
If you fancy cooking then the kitchen is fitted with modern appliances. There is a Smeg oven, Gorenje fridge and butlers sink. However there are plenty of local restaurants close by and the local tabac in Cunault serves a great cold beer or glass of wine.
Comprising of an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen & dining area with direct access onto a veranda for outside dining during the warmer months. Plus there are two woodburners to keep you cosy during the colder months.
The little village of Treves stands proud on the banks
of the Loire River. Only 7 miles from Saumur there are plenty of things
to do and see on a visit to the region. Taste wine at the sparkling
wine houses only a few minutes away or visit the many villages along
the river.
During the summer months when the River Loire is low the riverbed becomes a great beach for sunbathing or taking a picnic.

"This is a lovely cottage in a more rural area of the Loire - only 9 km
or so from Saumur (which has a gorgeous fairytale-like Chateau). The
property was beautiful with lovely accents that truly made you feel like
you were in the French countryside.
Micaela was excellent in responding to our emails prior to our arrival.
The information sent to us on how to reach the cottage was extremely
useful (as it was our first time driving in that area). After we did
arrive, she provided us with piles of information about the area which
we loved. Bikes were available for a ride along the river or you could
also opt to go for a stroll. There were also a selection of DVDs if you
simply wanted to have a quiet night in with a glass of wine.
